About Our Flagship Development – Quest International University New Campus

Currently we are developing a state-of-the-art university campus at Gunung Lang, Ipoh, Perak. The campus sits on 10 acres of land and consists of:

  • Block A (6-storey) – Faculty of Business & Management
  • Block B (4-storey) – Faculty of Medicine, Pharmacy, Social Sciences, Integrated Life Sciences & Computing & Engineering

Sustainability Highlights – The proposed campus will comprise Renewable energy readiness and Energy-efficient building systems such as solar panels, EV charging stations, Natural daylight optimisation, Water conservation systems and Energy-efficient design.

This Iconic project will target achieving GreenRE Gold certification to promote a more sustainable and efficient learning environment. This green certification focuses on reducing energy and water consumption, improving indoor comfort, and enhancing overall building performance. For the university’s occupants, this means a healthier, more comfortable, and environmentally friendly campus experience.

Past Projects – QI Tower

QI Tower is a Iconic 16-storey office building located in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

Certified with:

  • Green Mark Gold Award by Building and Construction Authority (Singapore)
  • Bronze GreenRE Certification (Malaysia, 2023)

QI Tower was one of the first high-rise office building in Malaysia to receive the BCA Green Mark Gold Award for an existing non-residential building.

Sustainable Features – Maximised daylight design, Energy-efficient air-conditioning system, Extensive greenery, Recycling facilities and Energy-saving technologies

The building achieved substantial energy savings compared to conventional buildings.

In 2023, KBSB incorporated a special purpose vehicle (SPV), Silver Formula ABS Berhad (SFAB), as part of a strategic initiative to facilitate the divestment of Qi Tower, formerly owned by KBSB, pursuant to Sukuk Ijarah IMTN programme.
